Computer-controlled tinting and a spectrophotometer, run by people who have mixed paint in Manhattan for decades.
Every can of Benjamin Moore paint we sell is mixed to order. You choose the color, line and sheen, and we measure the base and colorant by formula so the color in your can matches the color on the chip.

We mix from Benjamin Moore formulas across the color library, including the 2027 Color of the Year Webster Green HC-130. Yours is made when you order.
Our Spectrophotometer
A spectrophotometer reads the exact color of a sample by measuring how it reflects light, then calculates a formula to reproduce it. We use it to check our work and to match colors that are not in the fan deck.

Paint ordered on our website is mixed the same way as paint bought at the counter, whether you pick it up, get it delivered in Manhattan, or have it shipped to you in 1 to 4 gallons.
