Any Color, Any Brand, Since 1986
Paint Color Matching in NYC
Bring us a color from any brand and we will mix it in Benjamin Moore paint, on the Upper East Side.
You are not stuck with the brand that made the chip. Every color we sell is custom mixed to order, which means the color and the paint are two separate decisions, and you get to make them independently.
Pick the color anywhere: Sherwin-Williams, Farrow & Ball, Behr, Valspar, PPG, Glidden, Dunn-Edwards, Ralph Lauren, Pratt & Lambert, Fine Paints of Europe, or a RAL number off an architect's spec. Then pick the Benjamin Moore paint that suits the job: Aura for a living room, Advance for cabinets and trim, Super Hide for a building turnover, Floor & Patio for a deck.
Three Ways to Give Us a Color
- Order online. Choose the brand in the dropdown on any paint product, type the color, add to cart.
- Bring a sample. A chip, a can lid, a drawer front, a piece of fabric or wallpaper. We read it directly on our spectrophotometer.
- Call us at 212-249-1614 with the brand and code and we will have it waiting.

Questions
Does it cost more to match another brand's color?
No. You pay the normal price of the Benjamin Moore paint you pick. The match itself is free.
Do I need to bring a physical sample?
No, but it helps. A brand and code alone is enough for any major brand. If you have a chip, a lid, a piece of trim or a swatch of fabric, we can read the color directly off it, which also works for colors that have no code at all.
Can you match a color with no brand or code at all?
Yes. Bring the object to 1668 1st Ave and we will read it on the spectrophotometer.
Which Benjamin Moore paint should I put the color in?
Aura or Regal Select for walls, Advance for cabinets, doors and trim, Super Hide or Ultra Spec for high volume repaints and building work, Floor & Patio for floors and decks.
