Rental terms — please read

Using this equipment safely is your responsibility. A pressure washer at 1900 PSI can cut skin, and the spray will damage soft wood, mortar, window seals, and paint if you get too close or use the wrong nozzle. By renting from New York Paint & Hardware you accept full responsibility for the safe use of this equipment and for the safety of everyone around you. Never point the wand at a person or animal, never use it on a ladder, keep the cord and connections out of standing water, and test on a hidden area before you clean a whole surface. If you're not confident you can do the job safely, hire someone — we'd rather tell you that than see you get hurt. New York Paint & Hardware is not responsible for any injury, property damage, or loss arising from the use of rented equipment.

Damage, loss, and late returns. Normal wear is expected — these are tools and they get used. Damage beyond normal wear, missing parts, or equipment that isn't returned is charged to you at repair cost or full replacement cost. Drain the machine and coil the hose before you bring it back. Each rental day runs 24 hours. If you need it past your booked return time, call us first — we'll extend it at $85 a day if nobody's waiting on it.

Renters must be 18 or older and present valid ID. A refundable deposit is collected at checkout and returned when the equipment comes back complete and in working order.
