Birch plywood in fixed sizes, priced per panel — not per square foot. Smooth hardwood face veneers that sand clean and take paint or stain evenly, so this is the birch to use for cabinets, furniture, shelving and anything that will be seen.
Sizes and prices — each option is one panel:
- 1/2 in — 2 x 2 ft $31.99 · 2 x 4 ft $63.99 · full 4 x 8 ft sheet $124.99
- 3/4 in — 2 x 2 ft $39.99 · 2 x 4 ft $79.99 · full 4 x 8 ft sheet $139.99
Quantity means panels, not square feet. Pick your size above and set the quantity to how many of that panel you want. Do not enter a square-foot figure as the quantity — on a full sheet that would bill you 32 times over.
The full sheet is where the saving is. A 4 x 8 sheet is 32 sq ft. Bought through our per-square-foot birch, 32 sq ft of 1/2 in would come to $255.68 — the full sheet here is $124.99. In 3/4 in it is $319.68 against $139.99. The 2 x 2 and 2 x 4 panels are priced level with the per-square-foot rate, so those are a convenience, not a discount. Above roughly 15 sq ft in 1/2 in or 14 sq ft in 3/4 in, buy the sheet.
Need a specific size instead? Use Birch Plywood — Cut to Size, Priced Per Square Foot ($7.99/sq ft in 1/2 in, $9.99/sq ft in 3/4 in, cut included), or the builder on our wood cutting page. We can also cut a sheet bought here down to your sizes in store — ask at the counter for current cut charges.
Other sheet goods. CDX plywood, Masonite hardboard and Luan are also sold by the full sheet, plus a flat $7 per finished piece we cut. Each of those pages has a Chop your sheet tool that lays out your pieces and prices them.
